Thrift store plans to sell bags – Times News Online

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be holding a bag sale October 4-9. This includes all items in the store, unless otherwise specified.

The thrift store will be closed from October 11 to 13 for cleaning and changing.

The boutique will reopen on October 14 with all new clothing for fall and winter.

Regular store hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Donations of good, used and clean clothing are welcome during store opening hours. Profits are returned to the community through contributions that support programs and services for youth and adults.


The D4 celebration is scheduled for July 2, 2022, at the North Catasauqua William J. Albert Park Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.


The North Catasauqua Betterment Committee Fall Festival and Auto Show takes place October 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the park.

The rainy date will be October 16.

There will be food, live music, crafts and a flea market.

Toys for Tots will be hosting a toy depot, or attendees can donate money to help a child this holiday season.
